Renergetica S.p.A., a company operating in the development of renewable energy projects worldwide, owner of a solar-plants portfolio and active in the sale of engineering and asset management services, gives notice of the signing of an agreement between its subsidiary Renergetica Usa Corporation and the company Building Energy Development US, part of the group Building Energy, that could lead to develop a photovoltaic plant in Florida of 100 MW, previously assigned to another operator.
The Group Building Energy is a company operating in renewable energy with over 590 MW of plants in operation, under construction or ready to build in Europe, USA, South America and Africa.
This relevant collaboration enforces the bond between Renergetica and the group Building Energy, with which many important collaborations are been already started, including a long-time agreement to develop a pipeline in Italy, for a total power of 100 MW, as announced on 16th May 2019.
These two companies have also started to collaborate in Chile: Renergetica, through its subsidiary RSM Chile, in April 2019 sold a license to build a photovoltaic plant to the company Building Energy Andes, for a total power of 6 MW, as announced on 18th April 2019.
“This agreement is just the beginning of a wider collaboration with Building Energy on the US market, the second one worldwide – says Davide Sommariva, president of Renergetica – With them we want to take on new challenges: we were among the first ones to identify the USA as interesting market for renewable energy and, thanks to collaborations standing such as Building Energy, we can do the extra mile and we could go from pioneers to leaders in this field.”
The group Building Energy comments:
“We are glad to reinforce the partnership with Renergetica – said Fabrizio Zago, Chairman and CEO of the group Building Energy – the signed agreement makes possible to strengthen our presence in the United States, where we have more than 60 MW in operation and a portfolio of more than 400 MW.”
